I’ll be playing a set on Friday 6th July 2012 at the Open Mic Stage as part of Folk Friday on the field at this year’s Llangollen International Eisteddfod.

Unreserved tickets for the day cost £10.

I will be on stage at 4.40pm on the Lawn Stage.

I will be playing with hotly tipped folky-indie-types Dry The River, and local favourites Heal The Last Stand & Andy Hickie at Central Station, Wrexham on Thursday 9th December.

It promises to be a candle-lit affair so should be one to warm the cockles.

I will be opening the night so some friendly faces would be much appreciated.

I should be playing a couple of new songs for the first time. Tickets £5.

Here is a Dy The River video for your viewing pleasure:

Thanks to the wonders of soundcloud (excessive compression anyone?), here are the tracks from my live session for Adam Walton’s show on BBC Radio Wales:

Stormy Ships

Sniper’s Range

Gentle Waves on the Bow

Train Ride Home

Thanks again to Adam Walton and the people at BBC Bangor.

You can listen to the final track from my Radio Wales session ‘Stormy Ships’  online now here until Sunday.

I’ll be uploading the session tracks soon.

Anyone in the Bangor area should pay a trip to the Greek Taverna.  I played there last night with Pulco as part of the folkwit tour.

There definitely aren’t many venues or indeed bar/restaurants like this one!  Highly recommended.

You can listen again to 3 tracks from my session for Adam Walton on  BBC Radio Wales on iplayer until Sunday.

You can hear ‘Train Ride Home’ , ‘Sniper’s Range’ and ‘Gentle Waves on the Bow’  here.

You’ll be able to hear  the 4th track from my session called  ‘Stormy Ships’ on Sunday 11th.

I’ll be uploading all the tracks after next Sunday.

Thanks to Adam Walton for letting me record the session and for his kind words.

The session I recorded for Adam Walton’s BBC Radio Wales show is set to be broadcast this Sunday (4th July).

You’ll be able to listen live here, or listen again via the iplayer for the next week.

I’m set to record a session in Bangor for Adam Walton’s BBC Radio Wales show tomorrow.

I’ve also been added to the bill of the Bangor date of this year’s Folkwit Records tour.

I’ll be playing a few songs on 14th July.

A quick reminder that I’m playing in Telford’s Warehouse, Chester on June 17th.– (Everybody Wants Peace Records Proudly Presents…) .

I’m also really pleased to be able to let you know I’ll be recording a live session for Adam Walton’s BBC Radio Wales show in the next few weeks.

I’ll be supporting one of my favourite bands Mechanical Owl on April 30th at their first ‘The Beard Collector’ night in Mold.

The night takes place in St Mary’s Church Hall and there will be stalls on the night (I’ll be taking some badges along).

It is £3 entry on the night and you can take your own tasty beverages.

More info:

I’ll be playing 3 live dates in April and May in Wrexham, Chester and Mold at 3 great nights.

Have a look at the ‘live’ page for more details.

These dates will see several new sea-based songs played.

I’ll be updating the website more often and adding more content soon.
